Before work
Starting point
The multi-level platform included composite boards, metal railings, built-in seating and heavy pressure-treated framing. It sat close to the rear doors and hedge, leaving a narrow edge where cutting and prying had to stay controlled.
On site
Work completed
Railings and bench components were unbolted before boards were lifted. The frame was exposed and cut into manageable sections, posts and footings were removed, and composite material was kept separate from clean lumber and metal.
Clean handoff
Result
The deck footprint was returned to level raked ground across the rear wall. Doors, masonry and landscaping remained undamaged, and separating materials kept the mixed demolition load smaller and easier to handle correctly.
