Construction site cleanup
Site Cleanup in North York
Site cleanup in North York, from our Thornhill base, means construction, renovation and demolition cleanup: our crew loads and hauls the leftover debris, concrete, lumber, drywall, packaging and junk from a job site or property, then sweeps it ready for the next trade or the sale. It is not landscaping, lawn care or yard maintenance, so if that is what you need, you will want a different company.

Scope
What's included
- We load everything, with no need to carry it to the curb yourself
- Drywall, lumber, flooring, fixtures, concrete, brick and mixed renovation waste
- Sorted disposal, with metal to scrap and concrete and masonry to aggregate recycling
- Single loads or scheduled pickups while a renovation is in progress
- Site swept and left clean after each load
What a site cleanup includes
We pick up what the trades leave behind: offcuts of lumber and drywall, old flooring, broken concrete, brick, packaging, scrap metal, fixtures and general junk. Our crew does the loading. You do not carry anything to the curb or fill a bin yourself.
When the loads are out, we sweep the area, including the driveway, garage or basement floor, so the next trade can walk in or the property is ready to show.
Before we quote, we ask for photos of the pile or area, the address, and how close a truck can get. That is usually enough for a price on smaller jobs. Larger or mixed sites get a quick walkthrough so the written quote matches what is actually there.
North York properties we clean up
North York has post-war bungalows on wide lots, where renovations and additions leave a lot of material in the yard and driveway. It also has teardown-rebuild streets in places like Willowdale and Bayview Village, where a demolition leaves debris piles and the builder wants the lot clear before framing.
Condo and townhouse sites have their own rules: loading dock hours, elevator bookings, tight driveways and shared lanes. We ask about these first and plan the truck and crew around them. Details for the area are on our North York service area page.
End-of-renovation and end-of-demolition cleanups
At the end of a renovation, one haul usually clears the leftover drywall, wood, flooring and packaging so the home is ready for move-in or final finishes. At the end of a demolition, the cleanup covers the loose rubble, concrete and mixed material left across the site.
If you are still mid-project, we can come on a schedule instead, with a pickup every week or two so debris never piles up. Either way the quote is written and firm before we start.
Sorted disposal, not a pile at the dump
We separate loads as we go. Metal goes to scrap, concrete and masonry go to aggregate recycling, and clean wood and drywall are kept apart from mixed waste where we can. Sorting keeps your cost down because clean concrete is priced by weight and recycled, rather than mixed in with general garbage.
Because we load and sort ourselves, nothing is left half-done at the curb. When a load is gone, the site is clear, and you can see exactly what is next for the property.

Local answers
Site Cleanup in North York FAQs
Is this landscaping or yard cleanup?
No. We do construction, renovation and demolition cleanup: debris, concrete, lumber, drywall and junk from job sites. We do not cut grass, trim trees, clear leaves or maintain gardens.
How much does site cleanup cost in North York?
A single-load haul typically runs $300–$600. Renovation or demolition debris from a full job is usually $500–$1,500. Heavy material like concrete, soil and brick is quoted by weight, and sorted concrete or masonry for recycling is $150–$300 per tonne. See construction waste removal for the table.
Do I need to rent a bin?
No. Our crew loads straight onto our truck or trailer, so nothing sits on your driveway or the street. That also avoids a street-use permit for a bin in many cases.
Can you clean up after another contractor?
Yes. Many of our jobs are builders, renovators and homeowners who need the site cleared at the end of their own work. Send photos and the address and we will quote the load.
Do you handle hazardous materials?
Not as part of a standard cleanup. Suspected asbestos, paint, chemicals and similar materials need testing and a licensed specialist. Tell us if you suspect any and we will point you to the right step before we load.
How soon can you come?
North York is close to our Thornhill base. Quotes are often same-day and small jobs can usually be booked within the week. See also debris removal for smaller hauls.
